Job Summary
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption and growth of our Services. You will be the champion for our users, translating their needs and market trends into compelling product messaging and go-to-market strategies. You will collaborate closely with product management, sales, and marketing communication teams to ensure successful service launches and ongoing market penetration.
Job Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, market trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities.
- Analyze product usage data, customer feedback, and market insights to inform product strategy and messaging.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our target audiences and buyer personas.
Product Positioning and Messaging:
- Develop clear, concise, and compelling product/service positioning and messaging that differentiates our product in the market.
- Articulate the value proposition of our product to various target audiences.
- Create core messaging documents, including value propositions, key benefits, and target audience profiles.
Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and major feature releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, sales, marketing communication, customer success) to ensure successful execution of launch plans.
Content Creation and Enablement:
- Create compelling marketing content, including website copy, blog posts, case studies, white papers, presentations, and sales enablement materials.
- Work closely with the marketing communication team to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all channels.
- Develop and deliver training and resources to the sales team to equip them with the knowledge and tools to effectively sell the product.
Product/Service Evangelism and Advocacy:
- Serve as a product evangelist, representing the product at industry events, webinars, and customer interactions.
- Identify and cultivate product advocates and testimonials.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Track and analyze the performance of product/service and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with Sales and CSM to identify the business growth opportunity by improving/enhancing the product/service.
- Work closely with R&D/Product team to connect well between the business and development.
Qualifications and skills
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing within a SaaS company.
- Native Japanese copy writing skill and Business level English.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and growing SaaS products or services.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models and customer lifecycle.
- Familiarity with AI technology and products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and persuasive content.
- Ability to translate technical product features into clear and compelling benefits for target audiences.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Nice to have qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the OCR market and products.
- BtoB Sales experience.
